MSFT is scheduled to report June qtr earnings after the close today.
Consensus estimates are for $55.5 bln in revenue (up 7% Y/Y) and EPS of $2.55.
For the September qtr, analysts expect a 10% rise in earnings to $55 billion, with $2.61 per share. For 2024, total earnings could grow 11%.
Investors are keen on Microsoft's Azure/AI and their financial goals for 2024.
There will also be talks on Microsoft's new AI service, 365 Copilot, and their spending plans for 2024, which could reach as high as $45 billion, according to some investors.
TECHS:
MSFT is up 45% YTD and is currently trading at 31x 2024 consensus EPS estimates.
The options market is currently pricing in a move of 5%.
