AMD will report its Q1 results after today's closing bell, followed by a conference call at 17:30 ET.
The Capital IQ consensus expects the company to report a 45.5% yr/yr decrease in EPS to $0.06 on a 23.7% yr/yr decrease in revenue to $1.27 bln.
Last quarter, the company guided for Q1 revenue between $1.20 bln and $1.30 bln, which was shy of market estimates at that time. Gross margin is expected to exceed 41% in FY19.
TECHS:
Shares of AMD hit a 2019 high in early April, and they are currently up more than 48.0% for the year.
