AMD will report its Q2 results after today's closing bell, followed by a conference call at 17:30 ET.
The Capital IQ consensus expects the company to report a 42.9% yr/yr decrease in EPS to $0.08 on a 13.3% yr/yr decrease in revenue to $1.52bln.
On April 30, the company guided for Q2 revenue between $1.47 bln and $1.57 bln.
Shares of AMD are hovering within a point of last year's high.
AMD trades at 39.3x forward earnings expectations. This puts the stock at a premium to NVIDIA.
